Abstract


Objective: In this study, we investigated the current situation of language rehabilitation in children with cleft palate of speech language pathologists, and discussed the approach.

Materials and Methods: This study was aimed at language rehabilitation hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi-Do, Daegu, private treatment centers and welfare centers. The final analysis was made of a total of 46 data, excluding six, which are less reliable in response.

Results and Conclusion: Based on the research results, it is deemed that it is efficient to develop a training program for the development of phonetic placement method for children with cleft palate and to treat speech language pathology together, so continuous research and related program development should be conducted.
